At the opening of the workshop “Construyendo País” No.22, which was attended by the Minister of Defense, Guillermo Botero, the Head of State reiterated that "security is a democratic value, because without security, liberties can not be fully exercised".

He said that the rewards policy is a proof of "our firm commitment to the defense of security."

Precisely, on the subject of security, the Head of State recalled that this week, the Military Fort of Tolemaida was the place where the launch of the Security Policy of his Government was made, which covers, among other criteria, the comprehensibility.

He highlighted that security, "in the clearest sense of the word, is a public good that all Colombians want."
