In recent days and in the midst of the confrontations between the Organized Armed Groups, GAO, ELN and the FARC dissidents in the Catatumbo region and in the frame the operations of Colombian National Army troops in Tibú and El Tarra, Department of Norte de Santander, it was possible to obtain the surrender to justice of 14 individuals allegedly members of structure 33 of the Magdalena Medio Bloc; in the same way the recovery of a minor from this group outlaw is also reported.
The voluntary surrenders took place in the municipalities of El Tarra and Tibú; these people sought shelter and protection in a military unit, and they had abundant war material, military accessories and communications. On the other hand, a minor was in the same way rescued, who was handed over to the authority for the restoration of his rights.
The material was put into custody of the authorities, who will continue with due process.
