From San José del Guaviare, the Chief of defense of Colombia, Admiral Francisco Hernando Cubides Granados, congratulated the soldiers, sailors and aviators for obtaining for the thirteenth time the title of champions in the international military competition Fuerzas Comando 2025.
This competition, which brought together elite Special Forces units of the Western Hemisphere for more than eight days, tested the physical and mental endurance of the participants in tactical operations and teamwork on land, sea and air.
The victory in Fuerzas Comando 2025 is a significant achievement that strengthens the cooperation and readiness of military Forces to face regional challenges. For the thirteenth time, Colombia is crowned champion in this competition, demonstrating its excellence in tactical operations and teamwork.
In his emotional message, Admiral Cubides remind the champions in El Salvador that he is in San José del Guaviare to secure the rescue of their 33 comrades – soldiers and sailors – kidnapped in the rural area of El Retorno. In the same way, that they are in the stage of peaceful negotiations with human rights organizations and National Government delegates.
