The permanent work of the troops of the Colombian Navy and Colombian National Army, led to the recovery of two minors in the municipality of Timbiqu铆 in the department of Cauca, who would be alleged members of the Residual Organized Armed Group structure Rafael Aguilera.
During river and land control patrols in this municipality, the troops of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No.42 and Colombian National Army, voluntarily received the two minors, aged 14 and 15, who stated that they had belonged for three and a year to the illegal structure, under the command of the Individual Alias Mahecha, the main ringleader of this Residual Organized Armed Group.
Immediately, the military personnel established communication with the Ombudsman's Office and the Colombian Institute of Family Wellbeing -ICBF, in order to initiate any process of restitution of rights to minors.
