In 2025, Colombian National Army has dismantled more than 50 laboratories for the production of coca base paste, in Córdoba and Antioquia

Más de 50 laboratorios para el procesamiento de pasta base de coca han sido destruidos por el Ejército Nacional en Córdoba y Antioquia durante el 2025

These powerful operations have generated economic damage exceeding 27,000 million pesos to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, Clan del Golfo.

 

Units of the Eleventh Brigade of Colombian National Army, within the framework of military operations aimed at weakening the illicit activities of the organized armed group, GAO, Clan del Golfo, have carried out during the year 2025 the finding and controlled destruction of 54 laboratories for the production of coca paste base and two cocaine hydrochloride complexes belonging to this organization outlaw.

 

The exhaustive intelligence work has led soldiers to deploy these military operations in rural areas of the municipalities of Puerto Libertador, Montelíbano, San José de Uré and Tierralta, in the south of the department of Córdoba, as well as in Valdivia, Cáceres, El Bagre and Tarazá, in Antioquia.

 

In these laboratories, 1,224 kg of cocaine, more than 250 kg of coca paste base, 66,778 gallons of liquid supplies and 8,672 kg of solid supplies were found by troops.

 

In the same way, more than 7 kg of marijuana, 3,876 kg of coca leaf and more than 3,000 gallons of coca base paste were found by troops in process, in addition to equipment and elements that were being used for this illegal activity.

 

The dismantling of these laboratories represents a powerful blow against the illicit activities of the Clan del Golfo, which has generated damage to the finances of this GAO by more than 27,000 million pesos.
