In the last few hours, three more bodies were found by troops in the area of operations and one man was arrested.
27 members of this group were neutralized by the Military and Police Forces of a camp of the Residual Organized Armed Group (GAO-r) Structure 10 Martín Villa, in the rural area of Puerto Rondón, Arauca, where it was possible to kill two of its main ringleaders: alias Arturo and alias Ernesto.
At the site the National Army troops find a powerful arsenal of war, explosives, communications and military accessories, consisting of 2 machineguns, 21 rifles, a Remington rifle with a 22-mm caliber sight, a MGL-type grenade launcher, an M-79-type grenade launcher, a 60-mm mortar, 8 pistols, 2 telescopic sights, abundant ammunition of different caliber, 62 magazines, 6 IEDS, 30 40-mm grenades, 10 60-mm mortar rounds, 13 hand grenades, multipurpose vests, camouflage uniforms, armbands of that terrorist group, computers, hard drives, memories and cell phones that are currently being analyzed by the integrated regional intelligence bubble.
The camp was in a wooded area of the department of Arauca and, after the bombings the Army troops raided. There are clashes with some strongholds of criminals trying to flee, as a result of these clashes it was possible today to arrest another individual, increasing to five the number of personnel in arrested.
The bodies of the members of this illegal armed group were evacuated to the city of Yopal, Casanare, to make them available to the authorities, and start the identification process by Legal Medicine. The war material found was put into custody of the Judicial Police.
