Due to the health situation that has been taking place in the Kogui people, the medical personnel who are at the point, requested the evacuation of some minors.
The Colombian Air Force went again aboard a Bell-212 helicopter to evacuate five minors of the Kogui people, who were in a critical condition and could not be assisted only by the medical mission that began the care work since last Thursday. For this reason, the doctors requested the evacuation of the minors who should be transferred in emergency to the city of Santa Marta.
During this mission were evacuated in the same way three women, mothers of small and two ringleaders of the people who will accompany the minor for the priority assistance it will receive part of the IPS in the capital city of Magdalena, which once landed the helicopter, were transported by an ambulance of the First Division of the National Army to the Institution Providing Services.
The aircraft of the Colombian Air Force will be ready to support this difficult health situation that the Kogui children are facing, to contribute significantly to their speedy recovery, as well as to mitigate this health emergency.
