The individuals would apparently be committing crimes in the Pedregales, Buena Esperanza and Cueva de los Micos sectors.
Within the framework of military operations, in a coordinated work of Colombian National Army and the Police, five individuals were arrested in flagrante delicto, who would be members of the Magdalena Medio Bloc, Structure 33, and who would be specialized in the execution of crimes such as vehicle theft, guarding cocaine hydrochloride laboratories and extorting money from farm owners in El Zulia, Norte de Santander Department.
The arrests took place while the individuals were loading a dump truck that had been stolen on the borders of Cúcuta and El Zulia. In the same way, the individuals had in their possession bracelets and sweaters alluding to the FARC EP, short-range radios, garments for exclusive use of the military forces, 3 motorcycles, approximately 15 kilos of coca base paste, liquid, solid chemical precursors and industrial elements used in the production of cocaine hydrochloride.
Among those arrested would be alias Esnéider, an expert in explosives of the structure, who was wanted judicially for crimes of drug trafficking and extortion.
Those arrested and the material found were put into custody of the authorities for their respective prosecution.
