The finding of this psychotropic and the capture of some individuals are the result of a checkpoint by the troops of the Third Division of the National Army.
In territorial control operation, under the Bicentenary plan Heroes Of Freedom, Infantry Battalion troops No.7, with the support of the Cavalry Group Meteoro No.8, troops of the twenty-ninth Brigade, attached to the specific command of Cauca, CECAU, of the Third Division of the National Army, in coordination with the traffic and Transport Police of Cauca, by means of a checkpoint on the Via Panamericana, on the sector of El Hogar, municipality of Piendamó, capture two individuals who had about 914 kilograms of marijuana, which were transported in a truck-type vehicle.
This result took place thanks to the information provided by intelligence sources, and constitutes the weakening of the economic and financial system of the residual organized armed group, Gao-R, Dagoberto Ramos structure, which carries out its criminal activities in this area and ceases to receive 695 million pesos from its illicit finances. Those captured were put into custody of the authorities.
