Within the framework of the Plan Viaje Seguro strategy, the Colombian Aerospace Force carries out permanent aerial activity on the main access roads to the capital city of Casanare, as well as on strategic routes that contact with Arauca and Boyacá, contributing to the safety and tranquility of citizens traveling during this season of high vehicular traffic.
These procedures are carried out through air operations in fixed-wing and helicopter-borne aircraft, which leads to maintaining constant surveillance over the busiest roads in the region, strengthening prevention and control efforts from the air, as part of the institutional operation to strengthen territorial security, in support of the authorities that conduct control and accompaniment functions on the ground.
The strategy is executed in coordination with Colombian National Army and the National Police, integrating air resources with presence and control on the ground, which leads to a coordinated and timely response to any eventuality. In a complementary way, this deployment facilitates close contact with the community, aimed at prevention, self-care and institutional trust during travel.
In this way, the institutional activity in the air and on the ground leads to permanent control of the main mobility routes, constant coordination conducted by the authorities and preventive accompaniment during travels. This strategy strengthens inter-institutional coordination and contributes to mobility on the main roads of eastern Colombia in conditions of greater tranquility.
