Within the framework of the Democracy 2026 Plan, the Caribbean Air Group, GACAR, is constantly active to carry out aeromedical transfers by Providencia and San Andrés. The objective is to facilitate the mobility of patients who require healthcare centers during the electoral activity, in close coordination with local authorities and health sector institutions.
The institution in the same way permanently participates in the Unified Command Post, where actions are coordinated with the Military Forces and civil authorities to monitor and comply with the strategies planned in the archipelago.
In parallel, presence and control tasks are carried out through patrols in the vicinity of the military unit and where the physical, air, space and cyberspace component is, contributing to the protection of the construction associated with the institutional mission.
Through these tasks, the Colombian Air Space Force contributes to the security and democratic exercise of all citizens in the archipelago during the electoral activity.
