For this transfer, an ambulance aircraft Caravan C208B was sent with military doctors and the crew of the aircraft along with their resources to keep the patient stable during the flight, maintaining the necessary care.
Upon arrival on the island of San Andrés, the patient was taken by ambulance to the Clarence Lynd Newball Memorial Departmental Hospital where he received medical assistance and specialized treatments to stabilize his health.
Through the Caribbean Air Group, the Colombian Aerospace Force continues to work constantly to protect the well-being of the inhabitants of the Island who require timely assistance.
