A citizen who was seriously injured required humanitarian medical assistance of the Colombian Aerospace Force in Meta, because he was far from a high-level healthcare center, it was necessary to send military personnel of the Air Combat Command No. 2, CACOM 2, to provide him with a timely aeromedical transfer.
A UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter in 鈥淎ngel" configuration was sent to the rural area of the municipality of Uribe, Meta, with military medical personnel and crews who provided constant monitoring of vital signs, intravenous fluid supply and oxygen keeping him stable during the flight.
Thanks to the coordination previously made by the municipal authorities and the National Personnel Recovery Center, a new mission to save a life was successfully fulfilled, taking the patient to be assisted at a medical facility in Villavicencio.
