In order to strengthen ties with people and contribute to the well-being of the most vulnerable families, the Air Combat Command No. 7 of the Colombian Aerospace Force carried out a social activity in the Villa Colombia neighborhood; this activity was focused on providing support to early childhood children of the communities surrounding the Military Unit.
During the activity, 4,800 diapers for children and 40 bags of powdered milk, clothes and personal hygiene products such as shampoo were distributed, elements of great importance for the care and development of minors and will benefit 74 people. The initiative managed to provide support in some of the most pressing necessities of the beneficiary families, generating a positive impact on their quality of life and well-being.
This activity was possible thanks to the coordinated work conducted by the Colombian Aerospace Force, different foundations and social leaders of the villages near the Villa Colombia neighborhood. The union of efforts managed to identify the main vulnerabilities of the inhabitants and channel aid that contributes to strengthening the social fabric of the community.
Early childhood children were the main beneficiaries of this activity, receiving essential elements for their growth and care. In the same way, the activity became a space of integration and closeness with families, promoting values of solidarity, commitment and teamwork among all participants.
