Aerospace Force launches brochures with the most wanted criminal chiefs in Antioquia

La Fuerza Aeroespacial lanza volantes con los jefes criminales más buscados en Antioquia

In an information operation, a UH-60 helicopter of the Air Combat Command No. 5, CACOM 5, flew over various areas of eastern Antioquia, carrying out missions to launch brochures with the information of the most wanted, inviting the inhabitants to report irregular events that disturb their tranquility or that of their community.

This operation is part of the Themis Plan, a joint and coordinated work aimed at conducting the necessary operations for the materialization of arrest warrants against alleged perpetrators of beating people in the process of reintegration (PPR) and the inhabitants who participate in the Final Peace Agreement.

During the launch of brochures, which covered several regions of Antioquia, key information was provided about the most wanted people, who are accused of various beatings against human rights defenders, peace signatories and their families.

CACOM 5 will continue to carry out brochure launching missions in different regions of the department of Antioquia and the South of Córdoba, as part of the Themis Plan strategy. These operations will be carried out in municipalities such as Dabeiba, Carepa, Tierra Alta, Puerto Libertador and Caucasia, with the aim of continuing to inform the inhabitants about the most wanted and promote the reporting of irregular events that may disturb the security of the communities.

The Themis Plan aims to arrest 363 members of criminal organizations responsible for assassinations of communal ringleaders, human rights defenders, demobilized and peace signatories. To date, 119 of the prioritized persons have been arrested in a period of 270 days, reaching an average of one arrested every 48 hours.
