The Caribbean Air Group, in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, carried out an activity full of tradition and island flavor through the Farmer Market, a space designed to highlight the work of the farmers of the Archipelago. This event led to bringing to the people a representative sample of the products that are born of the island lands.
During the activity, local producers worked to provide seasonal fruits, tubers, vegetables, plants, processed products and a gastronomy that honors the roots of the territory. The activity showed the specialization and work that farmers invest in each plantation, as well as the importance of supporting the local economy and strengthening sustainable agricultural practices.
Within the framework of the meeting, the Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries, Christian Harvey, granted a special recognition to each farmer and to those who have actively participated in this labor during 2025. Among the honorees, the Colombian Aerospace Force was highlighted, for its commitment and constant accompaniment to the initiatives that promote rural development in the Archipelago.
This gesture highlights the patience, discipline and commitment of those who work to strengthen island agriculture and contribute to the food sovereignty of the territory. The Caribbean Air Group reaffirms its support for these initiatives, which promote community well-being and consolidate integration spaces in favor of regional progress.
