The joint and permanent work of the military forces conduct operations that result in the protection of Citizens, for this reason aerial loudspeaker missions were carried out over the rural area of the municipality of Ituango against kidnapping and extortion.

Such operations are carried out in a joint and coordinated manner conducted by the Colombian Air Force, the National Army, the National Police and in the same way with the Office of the Attorney General of the nation, with the aim of promoting the denunciation and inviting Colombians to report any suspicious situation against the tranquility of citizens.

Strengthening the #YoNoPagoYoDenuncio campaign, the Colombian Air Force and the Antioquia military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) send messages by a large speaker, installed in a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter, with the purpose of reaching the inhabitants of this area, encouraging self-care, not providing or publishing information that may cause damage to civilians.

Missions such as these will in the same way be carried out on the municipalities of Santa Fe, Giraldo, Cañas Gordas and Butírica, among others, in order to denounce these criminal activities, during the coffee harvest season, where this problem usually increases; in this way troops guarantee safety and well-being in the region.
