With the purpose of maintaining a coordinated work with society and other State institutions, to combat crimes that attack the tranquility of Colombians in the departments of Meta, Guaviare and Vaupés, the Air Combat Command No. 2-CACOM 2, continues to deploy permanent air operations to prevent acts that attack security.
On this occasion, crews of the Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter flew over the municipality of Vista Hermosa, Meta, throwing messages against extortion to the inhabitants of the sector so that they report any suspicious activity. In the same way, the information campaign seeks to persuade the different Organized Armed Groups to lay down their firearms and forge a new way hand in hand with legality.
The purpose of this type of military air operations is to maintain the communication channel through line 3213039941, to join forces with civilians and thus counteract punishable acts that disturb the tranquility of citizens and put their property at risk.
