As in the first round of the Colombia 2022 presidential elections, in this electoral activity, the Colombian Air Force through the Air Combat Command No.5 has its Resources to work for democracy in Antioquia, Chocó and the south of Córdoba.
In assistance to the requirements of the National Registry Civil Status, for the villages and municipalities as Cocorná, Frontino, Yarumal, Briceño, Carmen de Viboral, Remedios, Ituango, Argelia, Urrao, Betulia, are coming helicopters UH-60 transporting election material and delegates of the Institution, assisting more than 27 points in rural zones, reaching where no one else comes for the people of Antioquia so they can exercise their constitutional right to vote.
In the same way, accompaniment will be carried out during the days before and during the electoral activity, with airplanes, helicopters and unmanned aircraft, working for the security from the air so that Colombians can attend the polls with tranquility.
Surveillance and monitoring overflights will be part of the deployment of Resources in favor of democracy, alerting the local authorities of any abnormal situation that may be observed. Accompaniment is in the same way being carried out on the ground, with the distribution of brochures and Ground loudspeakers, sending messages that strengthen the security and confidence of citizens.
