In the Air Combat Command No. 1 solemn graduation ceremony of the Weapons Controller Officer Transition Course was held, in which personnel of the Paraguayan Air Force in the same way participated.

This course was held at the School of the Air and Anti-Aircraft Defense System of the Nation ESDAN where the officers of both countries received training and practices on regulations, use of electromagnetic space, phraseology, interception geometry, tactical control and closed control; among other resources that are important for conducting operational exercises for the defense of the Nation.

In addition, with this type of international courses, carried out at this Command, the Air Force strengthens the fight against drug trafficking and other threats at the national and international level, which in the same way leads to continuing to have operational successes, such as those obtained in recent years in Central America and the Caribbean.

The Colombian Air Force trains its personnel and military from allied countries, maintaining regional leadership in Air Interception issues and especially in the standardization of procedures in the fight against transnational drug trafficking crime.
