In fulfillment of the Institutional mission, a Caravan - C208 aircraft, of the Colombian Air Force, carries out surveillance and control in the Amazonas in order to strengthen security on the triple border and guarantee compliance with the preventive isolation decreed by the National Government against to the covid-19 pandemic.
The overflights that our crews have carried out during day and night are part of the mission of their Air Force: to safeguard the sovereignty of the Colombian sky.
It is worth noting that the overflights in the city of Leticia are carried out under all security measures, making use of elements such as night vision goggles.
This is how the Colombian Air Force, through the Amazonas Air Group, currently is facing the Covid-19, and it reaffirms its commitment to the safety and well-being of the inhabitants on the southern border of Colombia.
