During the mining strike in the Northeast of Antioquia, the Colombian Aerospace Force, through the Air Combat Command No. 5, CACOM 5, has carried out surveillance and control missions with UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters with the aim of providing security.
These reconnaissance missions have led to real-time monitoring of the main roads, bridges and strategic areas, providing timely information about places of concentration of people and blockades.
Overflights are constantly being carried out in the municipalities of Segovia, Cisneros, San Roque, Santo Domingo and Barbosa, Antioquia, which leads to a rapid response to any incident, provide support in early warnings and counteract disorders that may hit the community.
The Colombian Aerospace Force, in coordination with the State institutions and the Military Forces, will continue to carry out these missions that contribute to law and order, in compliance with the legal framework.
