After long hours of travel from Melgar, Tolima, the Colombian Air Force personnel decided to reach the municipality of Algeciras, in the department of Huila to bring specialized medical assistance and well-being to hundreds of people who did not have direct health services.
This is how the personnel of the Air Combat Command No.4 led a Development Support Activity at the Juan XXIII School with the support of the Secretary of Municipal Health of Algeciras, Hospital Luis Felipe Cabrera of Algeciras, Terpel, the Agency for Reincorporation and Normalization - ARN, the National Army, and the Official Professional Officers of the Reserve of CACOM.4 benefiting 618 people, with 1,130 services in specialties of general medicine, pediatrics, clinical psychology, dentistry, internal medicine and gynecology as well as legal care, pharmacy and hairdressing services.
At the same time, recreational and cultural activities were carried out with the participating children, conducting face painting, painting workshop and presents and candies distribution, thus using the Resources of the CACOM4 Comprehensive Action Military Forces
