Alias la Negra or Daniela, who was sowing terror in the north of Tolima, with extortion, threats and theft of the peasants, surrendered to troops of the Fifth Division of the National Army, along with three other individuals.
Thanks to the pressure by military intelligence and Soldiers of the Patriotas Battalion No.16 of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, alias La Negra or Daniela, ringleader of the group in the North of Tolima, belonging to the front Ismael Ruiz of the residual Organised Armed Group, GAO-r, Structure 1, along with alias Franklin, alias Cristian, alias El Zorro, the members of this structure decided to surrender to justice and to look for the troops of the Fifth Division, in the north of Tolima.
Alias La Negra or Daniela, was harming peasants in northern Tolima, in municipalities such as Anzoátegui, Santa Isabel, Cajamarca, Líbano, Herveo and Murillo, with extortion, people manipulation and cattle rustling, among other factors of instability.
As it could be established, alias La Negra was linked to the criminal organization since the age of 17, belonging to different armed groups outlaw. Currently, she was acting as ringleader of the aforementioned illegal armed group with criminal interference in some municipalities of northern Tolima.
Her extensive criminal record began in 1977, when she began her criminal life as a guerrilla of front 2 of the extinct Farc. In 1983 she was a member of the finance group of front 2. In 1986 she was a Member of the finance group, and, in 2016 she was in charge of the work of political prisoners of the extinct Farc.
Last year she was appointed member of the Adán Izquierdo group and ringleader of the mass group of the Ismael Ruiz front. This year she was named head of the Northern front Group Ismael Ruiz.
With the surrender to justice of alias La Negra or Daniela, the soldiers of the National Army manage to impact the instability factor of the residual GAO Ismael Ruiz, Structure 1, in the north of Tolima.
