Guided by intelligence information, troops of the Colombian Navy, the National Army, and officials of the Attorney General's Office arrived in the municipality of Yond贸, Antioquia, to find and destroy in controlled conditions three rudimentary laboratories for the production of coca base paste that would belong to the Organized Armed Group, GAO, ELN.

The events were reported in the area known as the municipality of Ca帽o Don Juan, where troops of the Field Artillery Battalion No.2 of the National Army, troops of the River Battalion of Navy Infantry No.17 of the Colombian Navy and officials of the Specialized Directorate Against Drug Trafficking of the Attorney General's Office, found the three laboratories that cost more than 45 million pesos.

The laboratories, which were destroyed in controlled conditions once the protocols established for the preservation of the environment were complied with, contained 1,100 kilograms of solid precursors and 1,906 gallons of liquid precursors for the production of narcotic substances, represented in coca leaf, gasoline, diesel, ammonium sulphate, cement, granulated urea and acetone.

In the same way, it was found and destroyed a rudimentary seedbed with more than 20 thousand coca leaf seedlings. Containers, scales, sprays and scythes were in the same way found and put into custody of the Attorney General's Office.

This joint operation led to a significant damage to the illegal activities of the Edgar Amilkar Grimaldo Baron front of the GAO ELN.
