During this activity, 1,119 medical and dental services were provided.
Thanks to the coordinated work conducted by the Colombian Navy, different State institutions and non-governmental organizations, 1,519 people from Arauca received free medical care and humanitarian aid.
Crewmen of the Navy Infantry River Battalion No. 52 and volunteer staff, arrived in the El Recreo neighborhood, in the department of Arauca capital city, to conduct 1,119 treatments, in general medicine, dentistry, psychology, gynecology, speech therapy, vaccination, among others, mainly impacting the most vulnerable communities in this sector.
During this activity, the distribution of medicines and donations was carried out. In the same way, the classification of older adults was carried out and recreational activities were carried out.
This activity, led by the Colombian Navy, was supported by Colombian National Army, the National Police, the Mayor's Office of Arauca, the National Civil State National Civil Registry office, Migración Colombia and the People's Representative for Human rights of Arauca; in addition to the Arturo Calle, Cardio Clinic and Fuerza Colombia foundations; and other institutions such as, Arauca Iluminada S.A.S, ASEO VIP, the Family Compensation Fund of Arauca – COMFIAR, the Corporation and Organization Minuto de Dios, Colsubsidio Drugstores, EMMAR, Municipal Company of public services of Arauca - EMSERPA, E.S.E Jaime Alvarado y Castilla, E.S.P, Hielos Arauca, Nueva EPS, EPS Sanitas (HEALTH SERVICES PROVIDERS), the Plataforma de Juventudes, Satena, Sierracol Energy, Supergiros and the Special Administrative Health Unit of Arauca.
