More than a thousand children will benefit of the distribution of 100 computers and 400 tablets. The objective of this activity is to promote the social, educational and economic development of these regions of the country.
In the framework of the implementation of the "Plan Horus" and through the Comprehensive action that becomes one of the main tools available to the National Army today, significant activities are being carried out in the department of Guaviare and south of Meta, with the clear objective of maintaining peace and promoting the social and economic development of one of the areas that the armed conflict has hit the most.
Through a ceremony held in the main park of the municipality of San José del Guaviare and with the presence of Mr. David Luna, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications, Colonel Federico Alberto Mejía, Commander of the Twenty-Second Brigade, the Governor of the Guaviare Nebio Echeverry and other civil, ecclesiastical and military authorities of the region, it was possible to carry out the distribution of 100 computers and 400 tablets that will benefit more than a thousand girls, boys and young people of 27 schools.
With this new day, more than 300 computers and about 800 tablets have been distributed to different schools, seeking to strengthen the academic processes of children and young people in municipalities and hamlets that in the past were scenarios of Colombian armed conflict but today, thanks to the National Government, the Ministry of Tics, the National Army, the governors of Meta and Guaviare, the municipal mayors and institutions of public and private order, have begun to walk by the ways of peace, hope and progress.
