This year, there are already 266 people arrested for common crimes in the department of Caquetá.
Troops of the Caquetá Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) in coordination with the National Police, dismantled the common crime group known as Muelones, who commit crimes such as drug trafficking in the municipality of Florencia, Caquetá.
Through different searches to establishments and public roads of the Centro neighborhood in the capital city of the department, soldiers of the National Army made the arrest by court order of 16 people, for the crimes of trafficking, manufacture or carrying of narcotics and association to commit crimes.
According to information provided by military intelligence, the individuals traded narcotics and carried out their criminal operations in several places of the municipality, harming the tranquility of the city. The arrested were put into custody of the authorities.
