A group of soldiers, using military techniques, tactics and intelligence, arrives undetected in the village of Punta Brava, in the municipality of Ciudad Bolívar, in the southwest of the department of Antioquia.
In this place, soldiers of the 11th Cacique Nutibara Infantry Battalion of the Fourth Brigade, by means of a search warrant, entered a building together with personnel of the judicial component of the National Police, to arrest alias Ranger and alias Bart Simpson, alleged members of the Southwestern Antioquian Substructure of the GAO Clan del Golfo.
Alias Ranger was the head of the zone and coordinator of the finance Substructure. He was in the same way in charge of coordinating the collection of money from extortion against of the trade and agricultural sector, as well as the materialization of selective homicides in the municipalities of Ciudad Bolívar and Salgar, in the Southwest of Antioquia. This person would have a criminal record of more than 10 years.
It should be noted that alias Ranger is the brother of alias Soldado, who was arrested last August by troops of the military unit. In the same way, he was the nephew of alias Paisano, who died in the framework of military operations in the municipality of Betulia, in the month of February of this year.
The other arrested is alias Bart Simpson, alleged hitman of the Substructure, his area of criminal operation was the municipality of Ciudad Bolivar, and he would have a criminal history is more than 4 years within the organization.
A submachinegun, a 9 mm caliber pistol, a shotgun, four magazines, ammunition and various cellular equipment were seized of these two people.
