More than a thousand military and Police units will permanently guard this area of the country.
The military operation of the Quirón Task Force, supported by the Eighth Division with the National Police during the Christmas and New Year festivities in the seven municipalities of the department of Arauca, will cover the department of Boyacá and the municipalities of Samoré and Gibraltar in Norte de Santander; so that locals and visitors enjoy with family with total tranquility this time of year.
Within the safe trip campaign “Your Army is on the way”, the Quirón Task Force has more than a thousand men, the Meteoro Plan, the mounted platoons and armored vehicles that will remain in urban and rural areas before, during and after the festivities of December.
