Santander. In military interagency operations conducted by troops of the Artillery Battalion of Campaign No. 2 " Teniente General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla", of the Fifth Brigade attached to the Second Division, with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, it was possible to dismantle the criminal group 'Los Amarillos'.
This organization had 12 members that were captured in different sectors of the municipality of Yond贸 (Antioquia) and Barrancabermeja (Santander), where they had their criminal operations.
The individuals must face charges for crimes of reception of assets for criminal purposes, conspiracy to commit a crime and aggravated and qualified theft. With these captures it was possible to find a revolver and several cell phones.
These operations directly hit the subsystem of resources of organized crime groups and guarantees the peace of the population of this region of the country and ratifies the commitment of the military forces to the fight against crime.
