In the framework of security operations in the department of Valle del Cauca and with the support of the Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police, the alleged ringleader of the finance group of the residual organized armed group Compa帽铆a Ad谩n Izquierdo, in Valle del Cauca, was arrested.
The operation was carried out in the Boyac谩 Civic Square, in the urban area of Tulu谩. Members of the Military Forces arrived there, who received information that alias Camilo had arrived in this area.
This 25-year-old individual, according to authorities, has a criminal history of more than three years in the criminal organization. According to what can be established, he was recently appointed as the person in charge of the financing and illicit income of this residual organized armed group in the department; In addition, he would be responsible for collecting money from extortion against companies and citizens.
This operation was carried out in compliance with the arrest order issued by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office 5.
With this result, the logistical and financial structures of the residual organized armed group Compa帽铆a Ad谩n Izquierdo, which has been committing crimes in the department of Valle del Cauca, are dealt with a resounding blow.
