The Twelfth Brigade of the National Army, with troops of the Infantry Battalion Heroes del Guepi and the battalion of Special Forces No.6, in coordination with the Sijin (Judicial Police) and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the prosecutor's office, in development of Operation Pedro Pascasio Martínez, which seeks to directly face the criminal phenomena that attack against the economic heritage and freedom of the inhabitants of the territory, captured alias Hormiga, who would be the ringleader of the support networks of the e-62, and trusted man alias Robledo, ringleader of the Miller Perdomo structure.
The operation took place after the troops received information from the Civic Participation Network and a thorough follow-up that was carried out by military intelligence, which led to the finding of Alias Hormiga, in the Siete de Agosto neighborhood of Florencia, Caquetá. According to different denunciations and testimonies, this individual would come carrying out continuous extortions to different guilds, the money collected as a result of these operations would be being distributed to alias Cristian Cancharino or to the individual alias Robledo, ringleaders of the residual organized armed group E-62 and Miller Perdomo, respectively.
The criminal records of alias Hormiga show he had been delinquent for more than 4 years, said to be a hitman and an expert in explosives. This individual would be responsible for the crime of Social leader Oías Sánchez, killed on October 15, 2019, in the municipality La Union peneya; he is in the same way accused of having participated in the attack on the military base, in the same municipality.
