The troops work continuously to counteract the operations of common criminality groups that aims to alter the tranquility of the inhabitants of Cundinamarca
Cundinamarca. Through tasks of intelligence and territorial control, troops of the Infantry Battalion N ° 38 "Miguel Antonio Caro" of the Thirteenth Brigade of the National Army in coordination with the Environmental and Ecological Police, captured three individuals for the crime of illicit exploitation of natural resources, in the village of Baquero in the municipality of Nocaima, in the department of Cundinamarca.
Troops found a truck and four cubic meters of wood. The individuals would have the intention to extract coal to market it illegally in the region. The three men and the material were put into custody of the Immediate Reaction Unit –URI- of the Prosecutor's Office of the municipality of Villeta, in the department of Cundinamarca.
On the other hand, in the municipality of Girardot, in Cundinamarca, troops of the 28th Airborne Infantry Battalion, in coordination with the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office, captured an individual for the crime of violation and sexual intercourse with minors under fourteen years old.
The individual, 62, was put into custody of the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Prosecutor's Office of the municipality of Girardot in Cundinamarca.
