The military personnel who will be assisting this free telephone line are prepared to manage the service; in the same way, they have the ability to interact with the citizen coordinating different technologies.
With the aim of being able to prevent or counteract acts against national security, as well as combat the criminal operations of organized armed groups and their ringleaders, narcoterrorism and other illicit activities, the National Army created the 107 Antiterrorism Denunciation Line.
The national toll-free line in the same way seeks to be an effective communication channel for the citizens and the institution, in order to receive and disseminate timely information that contributes to the loss or neutralization of factors of instability within the constitutional framework and the law.
In addition, since today it has the ability to provide support for a high volume of calls, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Thus, society now has a space in which it will find in the Army an ally for local, regional and national security, which will result in improving tranquility both in urban cases and in rural areas throughout the national territory.
The 107 line will be used for people to report and to neutralize, and prevent terrorist operations, find illegal hiding places, laboratories for drug production, kidnappings, finding of ringleaders and members of organized armed groups and, in general, denounce any action or operation against the law.
People who report in a timely and truthful manner facts that may attack security may receive rewards according to an information valuation process. In the same way, those who denounce will count on absolute reserve of their identity.
Line 107 Terrorism have prioritized the departments of Nari帽o, Norte de Santander, Santander, Putumayo, Cauca, Valle del Cauca, Meta, Huila, Antioquia, Bolivar, department of Choc贸, and Arauca, Caquet谩, where they will be focused on conducting military operations against the armed groups. Communication will be national, and, from anywhere in the country, citizens will be able to contact for free from their cell phones.
