The military operations are part of the tasks carried out by the soldiers of the Humanitarian Demining Battalion No.5 within the framework of the Ayacucho Plan, this an operation of humanitarian demining work to be carried out in the Laureles village of the municipality of Baraya in the department of Huila.
In this place, through manual demining and following operational protocols, the National Army contributes to the safety and well-being of the inhabitants of the north of the Department.
The Ninth Brigade reiterates the call to civilians, so that they do not handle unknown objects in the rural area and, on the contrary, provide valuable information that contributes to work for keeping law and order.
