The cocaine was camouflaged in a truck, and according to military intelligence, the narcotics had international destinations.

Troops of the Artillery Battalion No.27 and the Anti-Drug Trafficking Battalion No.3, of the Twenty-Seventh Brigade, in an operation coordinated with the prosecutor's office No.32 of Villagarzón, Putumayo, find and subsequently intercepted a truck, in which more than 1,000 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride were being transported, which would belong to the residual organized armed group, GAO-r, structure 48, which commits crimes in Putumayo and areas bordering Peru and Ecuador.

This result occurred in the municipality of Villagarzón, with the support of the Network of Partners for Prosperity. It was possible to succeed in establishing the movements of a gigantic shipment of cocaine that was being coordinated by offenders of the GAO-r E-48.

It should be noted that several metal tools and electrical elements to remove the cocaine were also camouflaged in the truck tank. Once troops manages to pierce the sheets where the drug was, the troops and units of the Prosecutor's office found more than 1,000 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that would cost approximately 5,500 million pesos, which represents a major blow to illicit finance of these criminal groups that finance their terrorist operations by the drug trafficking chain.

The truck and the narcotic drugs were put into custody of the authorities.
