Troops of the Mechanized Infantry Battalion no.4, of the Joint Task Force Marte, with the support of Military Intelligence Battalion no.1, in coordination with Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and Sijin (Judicial Police) Bolívar, and in conjunction with the Colombian Air Force, find an illegal hideout with war material in the village of Mina Brisa in the municipality of Norosí, south of Bolívar.
At the site, the troops found two rifles, a mini uzi, 52 cartridges caliber 7.62 millimeters, two multipurpose vests and two magazines for rifle; materials presumed to belong to the organized armed group, GAO, Eln, front Alfredo Gómez Quiñonez.
With this result it is possible to hit again the illicit activities of the GAO Eln, who use these weapons to collect money from extortions and kidnappings of traders and economic groups of the south of Bolivar.
