Army operation in Cáceres, Antioquia, leads to strengthening the security and tranquility of the inhabitants

ejercol_jpg.jpg

In compliance with the constitutional mission, under the guidelines of the Security, defense and citizen Coexistence Policy of the Ministry of National Defense and the Ayacucho Operations Campaign Plan, troops of the National Army carry out military operations to protect the lives of the inhabitants of this municipality in the Bajo Cauca region of Antioquia.

In the framework of inter-institutional operations carried out by soldiers of the Aquiles Joint Task Force and the CTI (Technical Investigations Corps) of the Attorney General's Office, alias David or Chupadedo, alleged member of the Yeison Leudo Chaverra substructure, of the GAO Clan del Golfo, died in the last few hours in the framework of military operations in the village of Bejuquillo, in the municipality of Cáceres, Antioquia.

Alias Chupadedo would be in charge of maintaining and ordering armed confrontations in the village Peladeros in the municipality of Cáceres and in the municipality of Briceño, in Antioquia, against the GAO ELN and GAO-r E36. In the same way, he would have ordered terrorist operations against the Military Forces that have been carrying out military operations to maintain control over their mobility routes.

This guy would be the ringleader of the group of the aforementioned criminal substructure, and he would have more than 20 years in illegality.

In this operation, a revolver, two hand grenades, ammunition and a cell phone equipment were in the same way seized, which were put into custody of the judicial authorities for the corresponding legal and administrative procedures.
