In facts in the municipality of Misiguay de Rionegro, Santander, four armed men, alleged members of a gang, intimidated people by a robbery in their houses. There they in the same way carried out the illegal holding for extortion purposes of a citizen working as a tour guide.
Immediately and once the situation was known, the National Army, in coordination with the Police, deployed its Resources with the Military Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) and motorized units to close mobility routes used by criminals.
It was thus that thanks to the effective deployment of troops it was possible to find this citizen and return him to freedom. The victim is already at home. The rapid reaction of the authorities was possible by the denunciation of the community, who reported this situation in a timely manner.
