Huila. The information provided by the community led the troops of the High Mountain Battalion No. 9 of the Ninth Brigade to the discovery of three gas cylinders loaded with explosives that were close to the road.
After the arrival of the Exde Group to the area, it was possible to corroborate the presence of the devices loaded with anfo and shrapnel that according to the expert report had been planted in the site by the Residual Organized Armed Group CMTF about a year ago.
According to the preliminary investigations, the devices would have been planted to attack on the Public Force; nevertheless, before the constant military operation the structure would have been abandoned and its owners were forced to retreat towards the department of Caquet谩.
The troops followed the security protocols, isolated the area and proceeded to the controlled destruction of the explosive charges.
