After finding these people through intelligence work, the troops preceded the execution of the military operation, thus arresting, in different places, three individuals in the urban area of the capital city of Vaupes.

One of them, known as Chupa, was on a river trip of the Guaviare river to Mitú, where he was apprehended. On the other hand, alias Charly was found in the sector of Puerto Chicha and alias Bayron was surprised at his home.

In the departments of Casanare and Guaviare, there were alias Pipe and Jefer, who tried to hide in these places and evade arrest. The first was working in a palm petroleum distribution company and the second was traveling on the Guaviare River in a cargo boat.

For approximately two years, the illegal structure has hit the community of the neighborhoods Centro A-B, 12 de octubre, Puerto Burro and Puerto Camacho of the municipality of Mitú. The distribution and sale of hallucinogenic substances, a situation that generated an atmosphere of anxiety, restlessness and creating among the young inhabitants addiction to drug consumption.

It should be noted that alias Chupa, ringleader of the common crime group Los Doce, had been charged with the crime of rebellion and was put into a prison.

In the same way, the other alleged criminals had a criminal record for drug trafficking and possession of drugs.
