Troops of the Joint Task Force Omega, units of the Elite Gaula (Anti-Extortion and Anti-Kidnapping Group) of the National Police and officials of the Attorney General's Office, in the urban area of the municipality of Cartagena del Chairá, Caquetá, arrested alias La Mona or Anita, alias Flaco or Yamid and alias Cabezón, who were required by court order, for the crimes of association to commit crimes with extortive purposes, kidnapping; manufacture, trafficking and bearing of weapons; ammunition for the exclusive use of the Military Forces; manufacture, trafficking, bearing or possession of firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition; trafficking, manufacture or bearing of narcotics and aggravated extortion.
The woman and the two men, committed crimes mainly in the municipalities of Cartagena del Chairá, Solano, Milan, La Montañita, El Paujil, El Doncello, Puerto Rico and San Vicente del Caguán, Caquetá, among others. They would be in charge of extorting, through telephone calls and pamphlets, the money of merchants, ranchers and productive groups in the region.
In the same way, they would perpetrate the illegal commercialization of coca base paste, forced displacements, disappearances and forced conscription, selective homicides, trafficking in firearms, ammunition and / or explosives.
The woman and the two individuals allegedly carried out the murders of victims who refused to pay the money and carry out the executions, ordered by alias Maneto, who served as the chief financial man of the GAO-r, Miller Perdomo structure.
The Joint Task Force Omega, will continue to carried out joint military operations, coordinated with the National Police, inter-agency and with the Prosecutor's office and other authorities, with the goal of dismantling the intentions of the GAO-r, while safeguarding the inhabitants, the State and its resources, as well as the life, the water, the biodiversity and the environment in zone of the Amazorinoquía of Colombia.
