In the frame of the strategy Pacífico Vial Seguro, the Hercules Joint Stabilization and Consolidation Task Force, in coordination with the Police, arrested alias Vicente and three other individuals, alleged members of the residual Organized Armed Group, GAO-r, Urías Rondón Structure, in the La Guayacana village, rural area of Tumaco, in the department of Nariño.

In the first operation, troops of the Jungle Battalion No.53, in coordination with the police, arrested three individuals, who were traveling in a vehicle on the road that leads from Pasto to Tumaco. One of them is alias Vicente, who allegedly would be responsible for carrying out criminal intelligence, homicides and collection of money from extortion against merchants. He would in the same way apparently act in the attack against the police station of the village of La Guayacana on September 11.

Similarly, in a second coordinated operation, in the same way in La Guayacana, a raid was carried out on a house where one more individual was arrested in flagrante delicto. Three rifles, ammunition, two explosive devices, 50 kilograms of pentolite (explosive), 10 antipersonnel mines, communication radios and military accessories material for the exclusive use of the Military Forces were found by troops.

The arrested and the material were put into custody of the authorities for their respective prosecution.
