Thanks to the military zone control carried out in the department of Tolima, these results were possible during this weekend.
In Flandes, a woman was arrested by soldiers of the Infantry Battalion No. 18 Coronel Jaime Rooke of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, by court order for the crime of homicide.
The facts came after the homicide on December 14, 2018, where a young woman died in the Villa Magdalena neighborhood of the municipality of Flandes, where the arrested woman was in house arrest. This woman now will be deprived of liberty for 96 months and put in prison, in accordance to what was ordered by the Court of Execution of Sentences.
In the municipality of Herveo, troops of the Infantry Battalion No.16 Patriotas of the Sixth Brigade of the National Army, report the finding of an illegal hiding place.
There, thanks to information of the people of the area, troops moved to the said place where they found two 16-gauge shotguns, which apparently were being used by common criminals to damage the tranquility of this part of the north of Tolima.
