Adopt a Park is the initiative of the Colombian Air Force that seeks, with the support of several institutions, to gather efforts to recover these spaces and benefit hundreds of people in different vulnerable communities of the country.
During several work activities members of the Air Combat Command No. 2, CACOM 2, of the Colombian Air Force, led by the Comprehensive operation Section have carried out works on the soccer field, the children's playground and the sports center of the park in the Bella Suiza village, of the municipal area of Villavicencio.
In the same way, procurement of new elements and improvements to the park facilities in are being coordinated with the communal action board, university institutions and the business sector of the region, “I am very grateful to the Air Force for coming to collaborate and provide us with this benefit,” said Teresa Garnica Pita, inhabitant of the village.
The social operation of the Colombian Air Force is a constant commitment that materializes in different initiatives for the development and progress of communities, contributing to the protection of civilians.
