In a coordinated work with the National Police, the Mechanized Infantry Battalion No. 6 Cartagena, of the Second Brigade, reported the arrest of three alleged members of the organized gang, GDO, Los del 47.
The facts were reported in the Ranchería Parawana, of the municipality of Manaure, La Guajira Department. Through a search warrant, the arrest of the three individuals was made, who were allegedly responsible for ordering and executing various criminal acts, as well as trafficking in illicit substances in the sector.
During the operation, soldiers of the Second Brigade and police officers seized an AR-15 rifle with a spare bolt, three shotguns of different calibers, two pistols, four magazines and abundant ammunition of various calibers. A grenade, a ballistic vest, a drone, a computer, a cell phone, a communication radio and binoculars were in the same way found.
Those arrested and the confiscated items were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office for their respective prosecution process.
