After receiving information about the displacement of an illegal speedboat in the Caribbean Sea, a Colombian Air Force aircraft searched for it.

Thanks to the information provided by the monitoring conducted from a ship, it was possible to report an illegal speedboat, in the waters of the Caribbean sea near the Island of San Andrés, which was identified by the monitoring platform of the Colombian Air Force, who has guided the maneuver in the sea with a Unit of the Rapid Reaction of the Navy of Colombia, which carried out the interception of the go fast with the Ship Almirante Padilla, finding aboard three people and 26 sacks.

The crew and the material found were taken to the Island of San Andrés where it was identified that the substance on board was 965 kilos of TCH or more commonly known as marijuana that would allegedly be transported by transnational organized crime groups to Central America.

The joint work conducted by the Colombian Air Force and the Colombian Navy will continue to weaken these illegal economic activities with the purpose of dismantling these groups that threaten with their criminal operations the security of the inhabitants.
