The confiscation of the narcotic coming from the department of Cauca causes a loss of approximately 324 million pesos to the finances of transnational crime structures.
Soldiers and police officers found and seized in a parking lot, in the urban area of the municipality of San José del Guaviare, 460 kilos of marijuana that were transported in a truck and was destined for the Federative Republic of Brazil.
In compliance with the Campaign Plan of the Ayacucho military operation, the Twenty-Second Rainforest Brigade, in coordination with the Anti-Narcotics Directorate of the National Police, in addition to the hallucinogen, found 550 kilos of caustic soda and immobilized the truck. The elements were put into custody of the authorities for their prosecution process.
This important operation of the Military Forces leaves a loss of approximately 324 million pesos to the criminals that commit crimes in Colombia as well as in Brazil, transnational threats that are countered by the operation of the Army and the National Police hand in hand with the other State security agencies.
