In compliance with the Ayacucho Campaign Plan, troops of the 22nd Infantry Battalion, in an operation coordinated with the National Police, struck the finances of a common crime group at the service of the La Cordillera organized gang, through six raids on houses in the village of Arauca, in Chinchiná, in the department of Caldas.
At the time of inspecting the properties, 90 bags were found by troops containing a green-colored substance that tested positive for marijuana, as the authority established.
In this way, it was possible to find 50 kilograms of the narcotic that would be distributed through microtrafficking in the municipality of Chinchiná, Caldas; in the same way, two individuals were arrested in flagrante delicto, for the alleged crime of carrying, trafficking and commercializing of narcotic drugs.
These men, who would make the Cordillera be at the service of the GDO, as well as the hallucinogen were put into custody of the Attorney General's Office.
